Send a Farewell Note to Retiring Teachers

With the upcoming retirement of Marci Messer, Ann Lira, and JoAnn Hartline at the end of the 2022 school year, an opportunity is being extended to anyone who may have had one of these amazing teachers. The Horizon Staff invites you to write a letter to any or all of these teachers letting them know the impact they have had. These letters will be collected and presented at their retiree banquet. Letters can be handwritten and sent to Horizon (10060 Brummitt Rd, Granger, IN 46530) with attention to Katrina Marks, or can be emailed to . Please have all letters submitted by May 23rd, and feel free to pass this invitation along to anyone else who may have been in these teachers' classes over time. Thank you for helping us send our teachers off with all the honor and love we feel for them!

There is a limited supply of yearbooks left. Once the limited supply is gone there will be no more yearbooks sold. Please click here to purchase one now.

PTO Dues

Help the PTO by paying $5 PTO dues. These funds allow the PTO to fund supplies used in class parties, grade level activities, and special experiences for the kids. Thanks for supporting Horizon PTO and helping make Horizon the best elementary school around.  The PTO uses PayPal as our credit card platform. You do not need to make a PayPal account to pay. If you do not have a PayPal account just click on pay by credit card when asked to sign into PayPal.

Book Sale!!

Hold On Tight is based on a true Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience and intended to provide hope and encouragement to expecting NICU families. Follow the Schramski Family’s journey through the eyes of Tori, a four-year-old, soon to be big sister. Tori has a positive attitude, strong faith, and is determined to hold on to her new sibling. She thinks the hospital looks like a robot’s playground and explains what she sees in a creative and inviting manner. She learns about birth defects, surgeries, and hospital rules. Every baby is different just like every experience is different. Use this adorable story to help bring up tough conversations, learn about basic hospital rules, and give your children the chance to ask questions.
