Party Fees & Donations
If you haven't already sent in your class party donation, please be sure to do so as soon as possible. We ask for just $5.00 per student to cover the cost of two celebrations. The easiest way to pay is to click the "Donate" button above, but you can also send cash or a check to school with your child. Just be sure to write "class party donation" on the envelope or baggie, and make checks payable to Horizon PTO.
Have you considered donating? The PTO supports the students and staff at Horizon in so many ways, but we can't do it without your help! Any amount is much appreciated.
Every year, the Horizon PTO adopts families in need for the holiday season, and with your help, we can make this season brighter for our Horizon neighbors. If you would like to help in any of the ways listed below, please contact our Adopt-a-Family Chairs: Nichole Werner, firstname.lastname@example.org, or Whitney D’haenens email@example.com.
Purchase items from a wish list (please email your preference, i.e., single gift, child, or family) by November 15th
Give a monetary donation: this will either go towards wish list items or be used to purchase gift cards for the families. Please make checks payable to Horizon PTO and send in an envelope marked “Adopt-a-Family” by December 4th – any amount is helpful and appreciated!
Help wrap gifts on December 10th – Please email for details. Always a fun night!
We’re excited to give the kids a special gift this holiday season… the joy of giving! We will be hosting a Penguin Patch Kid’s Holiday Shop this year at our school from December 9th – 13th! During their regularly scheduled library class, students will have the chance to select gifts for their loved ones, wrap it up and have it just in time for the holidays. Every gift is inexpensive, with kid-friendly prices from $0.25 - $12. A budget envelope will be sent home the week prior to the sale so you can set limits on the amount of money your child can spend on each family member if you choose.

Winter Classroom Party
This year's Winter Party will be on December 20th! We need 1 room parent and 3 volunteers per classroom to help make this party a success. If you have not signed up but would like to volunteer for your child’s classroom party, please email us at HorizoninGrangerPTO@gmail.com and include your First/Last Name, Teacher and Grade.
4th grade: 12:30 – 1:15pm
All other grades: 1:15 – 2:00pm
All New BoxTops Program!
BoxTops is now a scan away instead of a clip away. Ha! Almost anyhow! Keep clipping any of the traditional tops (just make sure they aren't expired), but watch out for the new labels and scan you paper receipt to earn credit for Horizon. Note: As with any new program, there will be learning curves and things to get used to, but we appreciate your help in continuing to make this program a valuable fundraiser for our school. Please let us know if we can help in any way!
