Make a Donation
One of the easiest ways you can help support the PTO financially is by a tax-deductible direct donation. We request $10 per family at the beginning of each school year, but any amount is welcome, any time!
You can donate via PayPal or by sending cash or a check (payable to Horizon Elementary PTO) to school in an envelope labeled with your student's name and teacher's name.

Fundraisers
Every year the PTO runs an all-school fundraiser in the fall that raises the bulk of our funds. The success of our fall fundraiser will determine whether subsequent fundraisers will be required in the spring. Fundraising information will be communicated via our e-newsletter and is typically sent home with the students as well.
Book Fair
The PTO runs 3 different Scholastic book fairs throughout the year. When you purchase items from the fair, you get a great value and Horizon earns either Scholastic dollars or cash to spend for our school. Our spring fair is always the much anticipated BOGO Free fair! Always a great opportunity to stock up for summer reading! Book Fair dates are listed on the PTO calendar.
Box Tops for Education
Look for Box Tops on your favorite products, cut them out and send them in. Horizon gets $0.10 per Box Top. Stay tuned for info about contests throughout the year, but you can send them in any time. Always include your child's name and teacher name (write them on the baggie, envelope or collection sheet) so they can get credit. Remember: Expired Box Tops don't count, so please be sure to always check the expiration dates. Register online at boxtops4education.com for more ways to earn, as well as coupons, recipes and more!

Amazon Smile
If you already shop Amazon, one tiny change can make a difference. Make all your Amazon purchases through smile.amazon.com (instead of just amazon.com) and Horizon PTO will automatically earn 0.5% back. Your costs will not change and Prime works exactly the same... so there's no change for you other than adding a "smile". It's not much, but every little bit counts, and it costs you nothing! Anyone can do this, so spread the word to any friends or family members who like to shop Amazon. Click the Amazon logo to easily link your purchases to Horizon.
